Therefore, without your consent, we will not be able to process your request unless we have your express consent. The parties above shall store and therefore may use your information for the purposes of marketing. See clause bellow. The ARC Group will store and process your data for quotes, bookings & marketing purposes (Only If written consent has been given in the clause bellow) only. Contractor will store and process your data to give estimate prices to compile the quotes as per your request. The responsible parties mentioned in section (B) above is committed to protecting your privacy and recognises that it needs to comply with statutory requirements in collecting, processing, and distributing personal information. The Constitution of the Republic of South Africa provides that everyone has the right to privacy and the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (“POPI”) includes the right to protection against unlawful collection, retention, dissemination and use of personal information. In terms of section 18 of POPI, if personal information is collected, the above parties, as responsible parties, must take reasonably practicable steps to ensure that the data subject is made aware of the information being collected. The list of personal information that is collected include vehicle make, model, year of registration, vin number, damages to the vehicle in question, Insurance details, Name, Surname, Email Address & Contact Number. The reason for the information will be used to compile an estimate quote, a means to communicate and possibly send marketing information to you as the client (Only If written consent has been given in the clause bellow) The data is obtained by means of an email or quote request form. The data is being collected voluntarily if you request a quote via email or this form. Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 | POPIA - https://bepopiacompliant.co.za/popia/act/index.php. The personal information is required by our contractor to enable them to give us prices for parts and materials to compile the relevant quote. According to POPIA, We are not allowed to hold the data of any DATA SUBJECT without their consent, and that we are required by law to delete all info of such person that in turn means that you may have to sign up again if in future they need to request another quote. We will not move data over the border, and if so make shore the country it is transferred through or too also comply with the requirements of the POPI Act. The ARC Group & Contractors shall have access to this information. The DATA SUBJECT has the right to access information held by The ARC Group. You have the right to request DATA at any time and we need to provide it within a reasonable time (72 Hours), you also have the right to have your DATA Updated or Deleted at Anytime. The DATA SUBJECT has the right to object to the use of his/her/its DATA. This will to lead to the complete deletion of data of such personal information from our system, hence "deleting such persons' account" and you will no longer be able to engage with our company unless providing consent again. Complaints regarding the use of Personal Information may be directed to the INFORMATION REGULATOR.
